    Postpartum depression and anxiety can be difficult to recognize when symptoms resemble the expected challenges of new parenthood. Dr. Alison Reminick joins us to explain the clinical clues that can help distinguish postpartum adjustment from depression and anxiety, including changes in mood, behavior, functioning, and engagement that warrant closer attention. She's an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and the Former Founder and Director of the Women's Reproductive Mental Health Program at UC San Diego Health.
